The Europa League draw has seen Juventus matched up with Freiburg and Roma paired with Real Sociedad, setting up two interesting Round of 16 ties.

The Bianconeri fell down to the second tier of club competition in Europe after a disastrous Champions League campaign, but found a modicum of redemption after beating FC Nantes 4-1 on aggregate in their play-off clash.

Things were a little simpler for Roma, who dispatched RB Salzburg 2-1 on aggregate in their play-off after a second place finish in Group C, finishing behind Real Betis but ahead of Ludogorets and HJK.

Juventus’ first clash with Freiburg will take place on March 9 at 20:00 UK time at the Allianz Stadium. They’ll then play the second leg in Germany on March 16 at 17.45.

The first leg between Roma and Real Sociedad kicks off on March 9 at 17.45 at the Stadio Olimpico, with the return match taking place on March 16 at 20:00 in Spain.
