Reports are spreading rapidly that Milan have a deal worth €11m for Flamengo defender Leo Duarte, also agreeing personal terms.

The story first emerged via Il Tempo writer Alessandro Austini on Friday and has been backed up by Radio Rossonera and La Gazzetta dello Sport transfer specialist Nicolò Schira.

Serginho and Alessandro Lucci had been seen visiting the Milan headquarters several times over the past few days, and it seems they were working as intermediaries with the Brazilian club.

Duarte’s agent, Fernando Guitti, also attended with them and reportedly agreed a five-year contract worth €1.2m per season net.

The 23-year-old centre-back is a product of the Flamengo youth academy and has played 60 competitive games for the club.
