Monaco want Inter midfielder Joao Mario and full-back Dalbert in a double deal worth €40m, but Pietro Pellegri could go the other way.

According to Sportmediaset, the Nerazzurri are after €40m to part with both Joao Mario and Dalbert, who are not part of new Coach Antonio Conte’s plans.

In turn, Monaco are eager to lower that figure by including a player in part-exchange and the key could well be Pellegri.

In turn, Monaco are eager to lower that figure by including a player in part-exchange and the key could well be Pellegri.

The striker is still only 18 years old, but the Ligue 1 side beat the competition by paying €21m plus performance-related bonuses to sign him from Genoa in January 2018.

Pellegri shattered records when he became the youngest ever player to bag a Serie A brace, aged 16 years and 184 days.

However, he has barely featured for Monaco, managing only six competitive appearances for a grand total 101 minutes of football.

He did still manage a Ligue 1 goal against Bordeaux in August 2018, but has been out of action since September with a serious groin injury.
