“I’m 19 now, getting old! I thank the team, as they pulled a few pranks on me today, but I hope to celebrate it tonight with a positive result,” the goalkeeper told Mediaset Premium.

“We are in a positive period, we don’t want to stop now and have a lot more to prove. Our credibility is at stake. We’ve got difficult games coming up and are ready to take on Roma.

“Alisson is a great goalkeeper and I compliment him for his performances this season. It’s a tough match, we hope to get a good result.

“I received many happy birthday messages and haven’t had a chance to reply to all of them yet. I’ll resume after the game. Hopefully by that time we’ll be celebrating a victory.”
