“We want to earn the victory, as with three points we’d have improved last season’s tally,” said the Coach in a Press conference.

“The team is in good shape physically and we’ve shaken off some knocks. We’ll be without Godfred Donsah and Filip Helander, while Mattia Destro started training yesterday and Erick Pulgar has fully recovered.”

Bologna hope to take advantage of Milan’s poor recent form, fresh from a 1-0 home defeat to Benevento, managing four draws and two defeats since their last victory on March 18.

“Milan are losing momentum, but they still have a good squad. We must be wary of their wingers, who are the extra weapon in their armoury.

“We mustn’t allow them too much space to cross. This is a very good opportunity for us to pick up a positive result.”

Bologna squad for Milan: Da Costa, Mirante, Ravaglia; De Maio, Gonzalez, Keita, Krafth, Masina, Mbaye, Romagnoli, Torosidis; Crisetig, Dzemaili, Nagy, Poli, Pulgar; Avenatti, Di Francesco, Falletti, Krejci, Orsolini, Palacio, Verdi
