If this was the final appearance for Angel Di Maria at the Allianz Juventus Stadium, then it was a negative one, as he was loudly jeered when substituted.

The Argentina international is only under contract until June 30 and negotiations over an extension appear to have hit a brick wall, especially with the failure to qualify for the Champions League.

Di Maria started this evening’s match against Milan in Turin and was substituted by Arkadiusz Milik after 63 minutes with the Rossoneri leading 1-0.

At the moment of the change, a large portion of the crowd jeered loudly at Di Maria’s exit and also the introduction of Leandro Paredes, another player who will not be here next season as Juventus have no intention of activating his option to buy after the Paris Saint-Germain loan.

Adrien Rabiot is also unlikely to be wearing the Juventus jersey next term, as his contract is due to expire on June 30.
