KRC Genk striker Cyriel Dessers confirms he is on the verge of a transfer to newly-promoted Serie A side Cremonese. ‘Tomorrow will be an important day.’
The 27-year-old Nigeria international spent last season on loan at Feyenoord, where he was top scorer in the Europa Conference League with 10 goals in 13 games.
Sky Sport Italia had already reported this week that negotiations were progressing well and the player confirmed it this evening.
“I think tomorrow will be an important day,” he told Eleven Sports after featuring in today’s 4-2 Jupiler Pro League win over Eupen.
“It is between the clubs now.”
