“We are not a team who can achieve a result without playing good football, so we just have to continue enjoying ourselves and play the kind of game we want, not letting any anxiety get to us,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“I know that Bologna are a very experienced side with quality players. They deserved the draw with Torino, beat Roma and Udinese, so that means it’s a difficult fixture.

“We’ve got to play with our brains, because Bologna can clam up and go on the counter, which causes particular problems to teams like us who take the initiative. We’ll see if we are more mature now than a month ago.”

Kevin-Prince Boateng is in the squad, but not fit for the starting XI, although he could come off the bench.

“In future we could have Boateng and Khouma Babacar together, maybe even Alessandro Matri if we need to push hard, but it depends on how the game is going.”

Sassuolo squad for Bologna: Satalino, Consigli, Pegolo; Marlon, Lemos, Rogerio, Peluso, Sernicola, Lirola, Magnani, Ferrari, Dell’Orco, Adjapong; Magnanelli, Djuricic, Sensi, Bourabia, Locatelli; Matri, Berardi, Boateng, Babacar, Di Francesco, Brignol
