Mattia De Sciglio will miss out on the Coppa Italia final against Inter after picking up a one-match suspension.

The 29-year-old Italian full back picked up a booking just before the end of the first half of Juventus’ 2-0 win over Fiorentina in their semi-final clash yesterday.

This was De Sciglio’s second booking in the Coppa Italia this season following the yellow card he received in the first leg of the semi-finals, and so he’s been given a one-match suspension, ruling him out of the final against Inter.

The former Milan man has made 27 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1711 minutes. In that time, he scored one goal and provided three assists, being used fairly consistently by coach Massimiliano Allegri.

No other members of the Juventus or Inter squad have been disqualified from the final, setting up an exciting clash in Rome next month.
