Rodrigo De Paul has failed to fully convince Atletico Madrid and a return to Italy could be on the horizon.

The 27-year-old Argentinian joined Diego Simeone’s side in a deal worth €35m from Udinese last summer but he hasn’t managed to convince the club or their fans yet, struggling to show his best in Spain. He would appreciate a return to Italy and two concrete options exist.

As reported by the Spanish press and Calciomercato.com, Juventus and Fiorentina are looking for a player with his characteristics and believe De Paul might be the right man to strengthen their squads.

In the past, both Inter and Milan were keen to pick up the 27-year-old Argentinian but now these doors have closed as they are no longer interested.

It’s unlikely that Atletico would accept anything less than €35m for De Paul, but a loan deal to try and re-find some form cannot be ruled out.

  1. No thanks… Juve have Miretti Fagioli and Rovella to develop. We are not a dumping ground for overrated Bidoni #IGiovaniItalianiSonoPronti
