Inter’s Danilo D’Ambrosio has thanked his Nerazzurri teammates and Coach Walter Mazzarri for helping him settle into life at San Siro.

The 25-year-old arrived in Milan in January from Torino and says that while making the move mid-season was not easy, he now feels comfortable at the club.

“My integration into the team is going quite well,” D’Ambrosio told SkySport24. “Even though it’s normal that I would have preferred if we won the last three matches!

“We are aware of what we want to achieve though.

“I am completely available for the boss and for the group. It’s clear that, having practically arrived in February, I was walking into a team that had already been built.

“That wasn’t easy but my teammates have welcomed me very warmly.

“I am pleased and I thank the Coach and my teammates for the consideration they have shown me.

“It’s normal that those who have been here since the start of the season are in a better position than I am, but I always put 110 per cent into training so that I am always ready.”
