Bryan Cristante noted that the Roma squad were coming into tonight’s match against Juventus fired up following the defeat to Milan.

The Giallorossi suffered a painful 3-1 loss to Stefano Pioli’s Rossoneri at the San Siro on Thursday, with both Rick Karsdorp and Gianluca Mancini being sent off in the defeat, putting coach Jose Mourinho in a tough spot.

Speaking to DAZN ahead of the match against Juventus, Cristante first discussed the team’s mindset heading into the game.

“Yes, it’s very important, we’re angry about the defeat to Milan. We know it’s important to win a direct match, especially at home.”

He then touched on Juventus’ draw with Napoli and what he took from that game.

“We prepared for the game well, we know what we have to do. Now we have to go in with the right head and we have to win.”

Tonight’s match against Juventus could be crucial in Roma’s fight for a top four finish this season. The Giallorossi go into this game with 32 points, three behind the Bianconeri, so a victory would see them level things up, just behind 4th place Atalanta.

It was been a tough first half of the season for coach Jose Mourinho, with the team winning 10 games but losing eight, struggling to find consistency.
