Milan and Chelsea might finally have a solution for their Tiemoue Bakayoko problem, as after he rejected Adana Demirspor, now Cremonese could take him on.

The midfielder has been a millstone around the necks of these two clubs for the better part of a year.

Originally purchased from Monaco in 2017 for €40m, he was loaned to Milan, back to Monaco, then Napoli and finally again to Milan in 2021.

That deal cost €3m with an obligation to buy in June 2023 for €17m if certain conditions were met.

Eager not to activate that obligation, the Serie A side has not played Bakayoko at all this season and considers his wage a burden.

They had seemingly found a move for him over the summer only for the player to reject it, which he did again last week for Turkish club Adana Demirspor.

It reportedly infuriated Milan and Chelsea, but now Sky Sport Italia, Calciomercato.com, Tuttomercatoweb and more claim that Bakayoko has agreed to join Cremonese on loan for six months.

Considering they are rock bottom of Serie A and have not won a single game all season, this would be somewhat surprising.

Nonetheless, it is reported that the only problem now is getting the final all-clear from Cremonese to cover his salary.
