Atalanta must cope without Duvan Zapata while Fiorentina see Martinez Quarta and Alvaro Odriozola return to the starting line-up in a Coppa Italia quarter-final clash.

It kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo. The winning side will face Juventus or Sassuolo in the semi-finals.

La Dea has lost the Colombian striker for two or three months, so Luis Muriel will replace him.

Gian Piero Gasperini is short of options in attack, given that Aleksey Miranchuk and Josip Ilicic are also unavailable. The same is true of Giuseppe Pezzella, while Rafael Toloi is suspended.

Davide Zappacosta is favourite to start over Hans Hateboer, while Mario Pasalic should be picked over Matteo Pessina.

Teun Koopmeiners will miss the semis with a yellow card. Atalanta went beyond the quarter-finals three times in the last four years.

Martinez Quarta and Odriozola return to the starting XI. Bartlomiej Dragowski is suspended. Alfred Duncan and Gaetano Castrovilli are one yellow card away from suspension, but neither is expected to start.

Doubts on the starting centre forward. Krzysztof Piatek is favourite over Arthur Cabral despite not being 100% fit.

The former Genoa and Milan striker is the player with the most goals in Coppa Italia since 2018-19: ten, just one more than Federico Chiesa.

Jonathan Ikone should start as a right-winger even if Vincenzo Italiano admitted yesterday that the former Lille man still needs to adapt to Italian football. “Even Michel Platini took two months to settle in, but I always tell him that he’ll have to be quicker.”
