Fiorentina have been drawn against Polish side Lech Poznan in the quarter-final of the Conference League.

La Viola qualified for the last eight of the competition after beating Turkish outfit Sivasspor 4-1 on Thursday evening to cement a 5-1 aggregate win.

Their victory was marred by ugly scenes that unfolded after the fourth goal in the 89th minute as a pitch invader made his way towards the celebrating Fiorentina players and punched Alessandro Bianco in the face.

Fiorentina are the only Italian side left in the competition after Lazio were eliminated at the hands of AZ Alkmaar in the Round of 16.

Vincenzo Italiano’s side will be hoping to follow in Roma’s footsteps after the Giallorossi won the inaugural edition of the competition in 2022.

The first legs of the Conference League quarter-finals are due to take place on Thursday, April 13.

The winner of the tie between Fiorentina and Lech Poznan will face off against either Basel or Nice in the semi-final.

The winner of that game will play any one of Gent, West Ham, Anderlecht or AZ Alkmaar in the final at the Fortuna Arena in Prague on June 7.
