Fiorentina might sell Federico Chiesa to Juventus if they get a replacement, it’s reported, such as Matteo Politano, Domenico Berardi or Rodrigo De Paul.

Eyebrows were raised this afternoon when agent Fali Ramadani was spotted at the Juve HQ for a long meeting with director of sport Fabio Paratici.

At the same time, the Viola did not deny they were looking for more wide men to join their trident attack after Kevin-Prince Boateng and Franck Ribery.

At the same time, the Viola did not deny they were looking for more wide men to join their trident attack after Kevin-Prince Boateng and Franck Ribery.

According to Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fiorentina are still on the market for a wide forward and there are three particular names on the list.

The first choice is Politano, but Inter have repeatedly stated he is not for sale and slammed the door shut.

Berardi would be tricky to prise from Sassuolo and very expensive at around €20-25m.

A more affordable and practical option would be De Paul, who impressed so much at Udinese last season than he earned several caps with Argentina.

If Fiorentina were to bring in De Paul to join Ribery and Boateng, they’d be more inclined to release Chiesa, who has made no secret of his frustration at the lack of a transfer to Juventus.

Sky Sport Italia reported months ago that Chiesa had agreed personal terms with the Bianconeri, but a change of ownership from the Della Valle brothers to Rocco Commisso slammed the brakes on that deal.
