Juventus star Federico Chiesa reportedly rejected a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia recently, keen to find redemption in Turin.

The 25-year-old Italian winger did not have an easy season last term, missing the first few months due to his cruciate ligament rupture. After finally returning in the post-World Cup period, he struggled to build his fitness and finished the Serie A season with just six starts.

Recent media reports suggest that Juventus are open to selling both Chiesa and Vlahovic this summer, something that has generated some concern amongst supporters.

Page six of today’s Tuttosport details how Chiesa was approached by the four PIF-backed Saudi clubs – Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr – last month, who offered him a three-year contract worth around €20m net per season.

The Juventus winger immediately rejected the offer through his agent Fali Ramadani, not wanting to deepen the talks any further.

Chiesa is keen to reach full fitness and redeem himself in the coming season after a difficult period following the cruciate ligament injury.
