Chelsea talent Armando Broja, who Milan recently explored a deal for, sent a message to the various clubs interested in him.

The Rossoneri reportedly contacted the Blues to inquire about the 21-year-old Albanian forward last month. Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are searching for a new number nine for the club and believe Broja to be a good fit, so they opened preliminary talks with Chelsea to explore a move.

Speaking in a press conference today, Broja send a clear messages to the various clubs interested in picking him up, including Milan.

“I see the contract as a massive opportunity for me. This is my boyhood club. I want to do my best and give it my all to break into the starting lineup.

“For me, it’s a big stepping stone from where I was last season to where I am now. That’s my aim, to get better. There’s not many better clubs to learn.”

The 21-year-old Broja signed a new six-year deal with Chelsea in the summer, tying him to the club until 2028. He’s been given limited chances this season under Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter, only playing 187 minutes of Premier League action across 10 Premier League appearances.

Milan are planning to pick up a new centre forward next summer but it seems likely that they’ll have to look elsewhere.
