According to Quotidiano Sportivo in Italy, Coach Antonio Conte is determined to bring the Italy international centre-back to Stamford Bridge.

He already tried to sign Romagnoli over the summer, but the Rossoneri turned down huge proposals for the 21-year-old talent.

Chelsea have had a dismal start to the season and most of their problems appear to be in defence.

It’s now reported the Blues will make another attempt to poach Romagnoli during the January transfer window, offering up to €50m.

Milan signed him from Roma last summer for €25m plus a 30 per cent cut of a future sale.
