Samir Handanovic sees an “improved and more balanced” Inter under Frank de Boer as they visit Sparta Prague in the Europa League.

It kicks off on Thursday at the Generali Arena at 18.00 UK time (17.00 GMT).

“For me every match is important, both in Serie A and the Europa League. There are no differences, I always want the victory and what counts right now is tomorrow’s test,” said the goalkeeper in his Press conference.

“We have definitely improved, though I couldn’t quantify how much. We are more balanced. There are still margins for improvement, even if we haven’t much time for training with such a packed fixture list. You improve game by game.”

Inter have a curious statistic, having broken the deadlock only once in seven competitive matches this season.

“I don’t know why that happens. We reflected on these continual handicap starts and are working to ensure this doesn’t happen anymore. We can grow and improve.”
