Alessio Cerci needs to give the all-clear so he can join fellow Milan winger Suso at Genoa in January.

The two clubs have regularly traded players in recent years and that strong rapport continues into the transfer window.

With Kevin-Prince Boateng arriving as a free agent from Schalke 04, the Rossoneri no longer require Cerci – who is on an extended loan from Atletico Madrid.

The Corriere della Sera newspaper is adamant Milan and Genoa have already agreed terms for the six-month loan, so they are only waiting for Cerci to give the all-clear.

Genoa are bringing in Suso and Cerci to fill the gaps, as Diego Perotti is on the verge of completing a €9m move to Roma.

It’s reported Perotti will be in the Capital tomorrow for a medical.

At the same time, Roma have also agreed a loan with option to buy for €12m for Milan’s Stephan El Shaarawy.
