Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali discusses offers for Domenico Berardi, Giacomo Raspadori and Davide Frattesi, as well as Juventus interest in his own services.

The Neroverdi have impressed again this season, even after changing coach from Roberto De Zerbi to Alessio Dionisi.

As with every summer, there are clubs hovering all around the Sassuolo talents for potential transfers.

“Scamacca has a lot of interest on the market, but the first club to request information was Inter. We also received proposals from abroad,” Carnevali told Il Messaggero newspaper.

“At the moment, there are no agreements or closed negotiations with anyone.”

Midfielder Frattesi has also been heavily linked with a possible move to Inter over the summer.

“Silvio Berlusconi called me last year and wanted him at all costs for Monza. It was not easy to resist. Roma really believed in him and absolutely did not want to sell, but there are moments in which you prefer somewhere you can play regularly.

“Davide has incredible margins for improvement and there are again both Italian and foreign clubs interested in him.”

Raspadori has been repeatedly mentioned in the media for Juventus, Inter or Milan, although again that is not necessarily where he will end up.

“Raspadori is a product of our youth academy, so a real jewel in the crown. We received an offer from the Premier League for him in January, but not Napoli, they just asked for Jeremie Boga.

“Domenico Berardi received an offer from Fiorentina last summer, but it was inadequate.”

There have also been reports of transfer attention from Juventus for director Consigli’s services next term.

“Being linked with such an important club is always pleasing. I am fortunate enough to work in a great club and have a strong bond with the owners.”
