Brescia striker Andrea Caracciolo is hoping to pull off a shock when his side take on League leaders Milan on Saturday.

The Rondinelle need a positive result if they are to have any chance of surviving another season in Serie A.

Giuseppe Iachini's side currently lie second from bottom in the table, four points adrift of safety.

Interviewed by Il Corriere dello Sport, Caracciolo said: "Milan have already won the Scudetto and would do anyway even if they lose to us.

"I will give the maximum for Brescia because we want to stay in Serie A.

"We have put Inter, Roma and Juventus in difficulty at home. Why shouldn't we repeat that against Milan?"

Asked about his future, Caracciolo said: "It's not the moment to do so. Right now there is Brescia to save then we'll see.

"The only thing that counts right now is beating Milan."
