Alberto Aquilani wants to play a role in Juventus "winning future" alongside Milan ace Andrea Pirlo.

Speaking with La Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday, the Roman touched on numerous subjects, including his own future.

Currently on loan from Liverpool, Juve want to sign him outright even if they are hoping to net him for less than the €16m fee agreed last summer

"My desire is to stay in Turin for a long time, to win a lot and I mean a lot," the 26-year-old noted.

"My desire is to stay in Turin for a long time, to win a lot and I mean a lot," the 26-year-old noted.

"I don't know how the negotiations are going with Liverpool, but the situation is simple. It all depends on Juve, if they want me then they can buy me."

The Old Lady have had a problematic campaign and look unlikely to qualify for next season's Champions League.

However, Aquilani is convinced that the club are on the right road to return to their glory days of the past.

"I know that the results make it difficult to think like this, but the Juve project is a winning one," he continued.

"I live it everyday and I have no doubts. The foundations are solid and we are not that far behind the best teams.

"I want to be a protagonist of the new winning cycle which is on the way – I'm sure of it."

Juventus have been strongly linked with a move for Pirlo this summer given that the player will soon be out of contract at San Siro.

"It would be fantastic to have Pirlo here," added Aquilani. "He's a top player, a great at international level. Playing alongside him would help me to grow even more."
