Fabio Capello discusses the start of Serie A, and believes Inter ‘can do very well’.

The ex-Russia CT discussed the first two matches of the season in an interview with Mediaset, and also had some harsh words for the new faces at Juventus.

“I said it would be good for Roma to meet Juventus now,” Capello said, in reference to the Giallorossi’s 2-1 win on Sunday.

“Maybe some players have not yet understood what it means to wear the Juventus shirt. Sometimes it’s not enough just to give 100 per cent.

“Maybe some players have not yet understood what it means to wear the Juventus shirt. Sometimes it’s not enough just to give 100 per cent.

“Now it’s up to [Giorgio] Chiellini and [Gianluigi] Buffon to take this group on their shoulders and guide them on the pitch.

“As for Inter, the fact they’ve started so well before completing their squad is a big advantage.

“They have six points, admittedly ones which they maybe didn’t deserve, or only just deserved, but I think this team can do very well.

“Being six points clear of Juventus and being top of the table ahead of Napoli and Roma is a great thing.”

The former England manager also discussed the next step in his career, and admits he would like to return to club football.

“I still don’t know what I’ll do, but I’d prefer a club team. There isn’t enough time to get your ideas across with a national team.”
