Milan captain Davide Calabria backed Rafael Leao on Instagram following whistles from Rossoneri supporters aimed at the Portuguese star.
Leao was booed by some Milan supporters at San Siro when the 24-year-old was subbed off in the final minutes of a 1-0 win over Sassuolo on Saturday.
Leao scored his last Serie A goal in September in a 1-0 victory against Hellas Verona.
Alessandro Florenzi said after the final whistle that the Portuguese forward ‘will react’ and that the team is ready to support him.
Captain Calabria also proved this, who sent a message to his teammate on Instagram on Saturday, sharing a picture with Milan’s No.10 and adding a heart emoji.
