Leonardo Bonucci is reportedly ready to accept a €2m pay-cut, such is his desperation to rejoin Juventus from Milan.

The centre-back only joined the Rossoneri from Juve last year but is now pushing for a return to Turin.

He currently earns €7.5m-a-year on his contract at San Siro, but Tuttosport reports he would be prepared to lower his demands to €5.5m-a-season back with the Old Lady.

As agreement has been reached between the two clubs for Italy defender Bonucci to complete a sensational return to the Bianconeri – with Mattia Caldara moving in the opposite direction.

However, the deal is tethered to Milan’s ongoing attempts to sign Juve forward Gonzalo Higuain.

Higuain does not want to accept the Rossoneri’s proposed initial loan move and is reportedly demanding wages of €9m-a-season from the Diavolo.

And without Higuain giving the green light to comple a move to San Siro, the Bonucci-Caldara exchange will not happen either.
