It is reported that Lazio are ready to double Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s wages, should he stay at the club this season.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with multiple leading clubs around Europethis summer, with his performances for the Biancocelesti winning widespread acclaim.

The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain are all rumoured to be interested in the Serbia international’s services, although Lazio President Claudio Lotito is expected to put up a fight to keep his star man.

According to widespread reports, the Stadio Olimpico chief will not even consider offers for Milinkovic-Savic below €110m.

The midfielder reported for pre-season duty with Lazio yesterday morning and was said to be in good spirits.

And Corriere di Roma claims that, in the event Milinkovic-Savic decides to remain in Rome for at least another year, Lotito will offer him a new contract to double his wages.

His current deal, which is on wages of €1.5m-a-year as well as bonuses, runs until 2022.
