The story first emerged in Paris United this morning and is gathering steam, with several Italian sources including La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport and Sportitalia all claiming there is truth to it.

With Milan’s Financial Fair Play violations prompting their exclusion from the Europa League, Milan are expected to sell several star names.

Bonucci only arrived from Juventus a year ago for €42m, but Calciomercato.it suggest he would be available for €35-40m.

Manchester United were also mentioned in the English Press as an option, but it seems Bonucci is leaning towards Paris, especially as he’d be reunited with old Juventus teammate Gigi Buffon and Italy international Marco Verratti.
