Despite scoring against Inter in the Derby della Madonnina, Boateng has admitted that he’s struggling to adapt to his role as a substitute.

However, after testing Boateng as a trequartista in training this week, Calciomercato reports that Cristian Brocchi will hand the midfielder a start against the Biancorossi tonight.

With Sassuolo having drawn with Sampdoria last night, the Rossoneri can open up a six-point gap over the Neroverdi in the final Europa League slot.

Brocchi’s side will qualify for the Europa League if they win the Coppa Italia, but if they lose to Juventus in the final, the place will go to sixth in Serie A.
