Simone Inzaghi has confirmed that Lucas Biglia will miss Lazio’s trip to Milan in Serie A on Tuesday after making little progress from his calf injury.
Biglia missed Lazio’s 3-0 win against Pescara over the weekend with a calf knock, and Inzaghi will once more be without his midfield general at San Siro, leaving the Coach to rue a “difficult” reality.
“This morning he tried, but he can’t recover in time for Milan,” he said at a Press conference.

“His problem coincided with us having three games a week. Unfortunately, it’s always difficult to play without Biglia, but these injuries can happen.
“Felipe Anderson is working well, Keita is growing, Cataldi and Djordjevic have surprised me, returning to the pitch as starters after a long time. De Vrij will be on the pitch tomorrow.
“Our commitments are close together. It was probably fairer to play Sampdoria-Milan on Saturday, but the calendar is there for everyone.”
