Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi has sparked transfer speculation by sitting in the stands for Fiorentina’s friendly against Parma.

The 23-year-old has scored 43 goals with 33 assists in 111 Serie A appearances.

He was spotted in the stands of the Stadio Dei Pini in Viareggio, where this afternoon Fiorentina are taking on Parma.

Sassuolo had the day off, as last night they beat Spezia 2-0 in the Coppa Italia Third Round with Berardi on target.

His presence naturally prompted speculation, as he has been linked with Roma, Inter and Juventus in recent months.

Fiorentina are seeking to reinforce their attack, particularly after selling Federico Bernardeschi to Juve.

It’s believed Berardi would cost around €30m to prise away from the Neroverdi.
