“Monchi is one of the reasons why he accepted the Roma project. This is a point of arrival, not a launchpad for other things. His pre-season went very well and I think he’ll prove to be one of the best signings of the summer.
“Naturally, he needs time to adapt to a completely different country, lifestyle and football culture. He is always ambitious and has a long-term vision. Football is his life.
