Alberto Aquilani has reportedly terminated his Sporting contract, and is set to sign for Pescara.

The Italian international joined the Portuguese side from Fiorentina last summer, but made just 19 appearances in the League, scoring three times.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, the former Juventus, Milan and Roma man has reached an agreement to terminate his contract in Lisbon.

The website reports that he will now fly to Italy to sign for Pescara on a free transfer, joining the Delfini on a two-year deal.
