Massimo Ambrosini's agent has not ruled out the reports of a reunion with Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea. “It's up to Milan.”

The midfielder's contract is up for renewal at the end of the season and it's suggested in the Italian media today that former Milan boss Ancelotti has put in a call.

That reunion could happen at Chelsea or, if other reports are to be believed, at the new American-owned Roma.

“It is beyond doubt that there is a strong bond between Massimo and Ancelotti,” agent Moreno Roggi told Radio Sportiva.

“They worked together for many years and respect each other, but not even Carlo's future in London is secure, so we cannot discuss this sort of thing right now.

“Massimo is a Milanista and has been for life. He is captain of the Rossoneri, but the decision on whether to renew his contract is up to the club.

“He wants to stay at Milan and there are suggestions the club want to keep him too. I am almost certain he'll stay with the Rossoneri, but I cannot hide that there are offers from other clubs.

“April should be a decisive month in understanding what his future holds.”
