Pressure mounts on Massimiliano Allegri, but club director Francesco Calvo has reiterated the coach will remain in charge in 2023-24 and will soon meet him to plan the Bianconeri’s future.

Juventus have secured a European spot despite a 10-point deduction in Serie A, but a UEFA investigation could lead to a one-year ban from European competitions.

According to Thursday’s printed edition of Corriere dello Sport (page 12), a key meeting between Allegri and club directors will take place in the coming days. The Livorno-born coach has two years left in his contract at the Allianz Stadium and is not planning to go.

Likewise, Juventus director Calvo has repeatedly said that the coach will remain in charge next season.

The Serie A giants have vital decisions to make ahead of 2023-24 and will discuss the future steps with Allegri soon.

Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli has an agreement with the Bianconeri, but Aurelio De Laurentiis hasn’t yet given the all-clear. Giovanni Manna, the current sporting director of Juventus’ NextGen is the main alternative if Giuntoli is not allowed to leave the Stadio Maradona.

Juventus will be looking for replacements for Adrien Rabiot and Angel Di Maria who will leave at the end of their contracts in June. The Serie A giants will also listen to offers for Dusan Vlahovic, who is wanted by Bayern Munich and several Premier League clubs.
