According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan boss Stefano Pioli expects reinforcements, especially in attack where Lens striker Lois Openda is the Rossoneri’s priority.

Milan are already preparing for 2023-24 having qualified for the Champions League for the third season in a row.

According to Thursday’s printed edition of Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper (page 12), Pioli has demanded reinforcement, especially in attack. Olivier Giroud has extended his contract until June 2024, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to leave while Ante Rebic and Divock Origi have been put up for sale.

Lens’ forward Openda is said to be Milan’s priority in attack even if both RB Leipzig and Atletico Madrid have already made contact with the Ligue 1 side who have an agreement with the 23-year-old until June 2027.

Alvaro Morata (Atletico Madrid), Gianluca Scamacca (West Ham) and Marko Arnautovic (Bologna) are also monitored by the Serie A giants.

Meanwhile, talks with Chelsea for Ruben Loftus-Cheek continue while Daichi Kamada is expected to undergo his medical with the Diavoli over the next few days, joining the club as a free agent from Eintracht Frankfurt.
