Max Allegri confirms Daniele Rugani will play for Juventus tomorrow but Paulo Dybala “won’t be there”.

Dybala has missed training for most of this week as he suffers with a muscular injury, and he won’t be fit to face Milan.

“Dybala won’t be there,” Allegri acknowledged in his pre-match Press conference.

“That doesn’t necessarily mean [Mario] Mandzukic and [Alvaro] Morata will play though.

“Dybala is much better, he should be back with the team on Wednesday and then he’ll be ready for the final sprint.

“Right now everyone is good, I’m not going to take a risk on a young player who above all is dealing with the first injury of his career.

“Rugani should play tomorrow. He’s done well, he’s growing and has become much more secure.

“That’s normal though, because he’s playing more so he’s improving. Tomorrow, unless something egregious happens he should be on the pitch.”

Allegri was then asked if he had watched the midweek Champions League matches, and whether he’s jealous of Antonio Conte’s Chelsea appointment.

“I saw the Champions League. To see great teams is always nice, there’s always more to learn and to see in other teams and players.

“I watched Paris Saint-Germain, but also Real Madrid, Bayern Munich – I watched them all, it’s part of my job and so it’s right that I see those matches.

“As for Chelsea, luckily jealousy isn’t in my nature. Antonio did very well with Juventus, he reached the European Championship with the national team, and I think they’ll do very well because Italy have the players to play a great Euros.

“He has the opportunity to go for an experience abroad, with different Coaches, a different mentality and a different culture.

“I think he has the qualities to do well though, because I think Italian Coaches are always well-prepared.”

Finally, the Coach was asked about the difficult period of his former team Milan.

“First of all, I can’t tell you how they get out of this crisis, if you can call it a crisis,” Allegri noted.

“There are cycles in life, it happens. I think Milan are a good team, they’ve found solutions to difficulties this year.

“They’re fighting for the Europa League, and a return to the Europa League is a major focus.

“Then they’re in the Coppa Italia final, they beat Inter in the Derby and they beat Fiorentina.

“They’ve had some draws too, but Milan are a good team and we’ll have to put in a good performance to get a result.”
