Max Allegri confirms Giorgio Chiellini and Paulo Dybala will play when Juventus visit Fiorentina tomorrow for the final match of the season. ‘It’s a fiery atmosphere and we need to enjoy it.’

It kicks off on Saturday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

The Bianconeri have nothing more to play for, as fourth place is guaranteed and they cannot catch Napoli in third, while the Viola are fighting for European qualification.

It had been believed that the emotional goodbye at the Allianz Juventus Stadium after the 2-2 draw with Genoa was the final appearance in a Juve jersey for Dybala and Chiellini, but that might not be the case after all.

“We are all going to Florence apart from Danilo, Federico Chiesa and Mattia De Sciglio. Everyone else is available and Weston McKennie might even get to play a few minutes,” Allegri told Juventus TV.

“Chiellini leaves a big gap in this team, because he has been an extraordinary defender and still is, because he will be playing tomorrow. The lessons he taught the players will remain going forward.”

It is never a normal match against arch-rivals Fiorentina, even more so now that Dusan Vlahovic has made the move to Juve in January.

“I expect an open game against a side that is challenging to get into Europe. It’s going to be a fiery atmosphere and we need to enjoy it,” added the coach.

It is the first season since 2010-11 that Juventus have ended empty-handed, so Allegri knows the pressure is on for next term to deliver the goods.

“It must be a team that aims to challenge for every objective it participates in. We must certainly improve from this season, but we have some solid foundations to build on.”

  1. “Solid foundations” he says, what are those? Getting outplayed by almost every team in seria a, no system, no structure, no cohesion, no grinta. Damn lucky to even have 4th place this season.

  2. Still saying nonsense to everybody mr. Allegri?
We all can watch it from the field that this juve is one of the worst even with so many star players in it

  3. Next season he will be looking to see who can take the bull by the horns and pack up shop after 25 minutes.

  4. Too many leads thrown away and not enough goal scoring chances created. I want to see a good start to the season next season. I think Milan will dip with champions league football but Inter will remain competitive

  5. Inter biannconero? Let’s wait for the whistle and see who may BUY their club in the voming time.
Mister please show your full ability next season.
