Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has dismissed speculation that Massimiliano Allegri is fighting to save his job.

There have been reports since their Champions League exit to Barcelona last week that Allegri was under pressure.

However, Galliani has dismissed the notion that Allegri has been told to win Serie A or find another club.

“Allegri’s bench is not creaking,” the official told Sky Sport Italia. “Don’t listen to those who are suggesting otherwise.

“I don’t understand why people are doubting a Coach, who has led us to the top for the last two years, after a minor false step.”

The Rossoneri were four points clear of Juventus in the standings, but a draw at Catania and a loss to Fiorentina has seen the Old Lady now move a point clear in first.

“What happened against Fiorentina can happen to Juventus between now and the end of the season,” Galliani added.

“We paid the price for our fatigue against Barcelona, but we are still just a point behind and everything is still to play for.”
