Roma legend Aldair believes his former club have a bright future following their summer revolution.

The Giallorossi are now under American ownership and have a new Coach, Luis Enrique, with fresh footballing ideas.

"I really like the project," the ex-defender, who played in 400 games for the club, told Forza Roma.

"I really like the project," the ex-defender, who played in 400 games for the club, told Forza Roma.

"I think that this Roma just needs a bit of time because the squad is made up of some excellent elements.

"Luis Enrique is a young Coach, but he has some intriguing ideas.

"The fans just need to have the right amount of patience because I'm sure that the results will arrive."

The capital outfit have recovered from a problematic start to the season to collect eight points from five games – the same amount as city rivals Lazio” data-scaytid=”5″>Lazio who they'll play on Sunday.

"It will be a delicate and difficult game for both sides," continued the former World Cup player.

"Both go into the match in a good moment of form and they'll both try to dominate the game.

"Obviously, though, I hope Roma end it as winners."

Aldair joined Roma in 1990 from Flamengo and remained at the Stadio Olimpico until the summer of 2003.
