The Euro 2012 qualifying group phase has ended with 12 automatic entries and eight nations in the play-offs.

Italy topped Group C and join Germany, Russia, France, Holland, Greece, England, Denmark and Spain.

Also qualified are co-hosts Poland and Ukraine, plus Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Sweden as the best runners-up thanks to tonight's 3-2 Group E victory over Holland.

The draw for the play-offs is on Thursday, as the matches are on November 11-12 and 15.

Giovanni Trapattoni's Republic of Ireland are in this selection along with Turkey, Estonia, Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, Portugal and the Czech Republic.

Estonia went into the play-offs from Italy's Group C, as Serbia lost 1-0 in Slovenia this evening.
