Adidas are reportedly set to replace New Balance as Roma’s kit suppliers from next season onwards.

Kit insiders Footy Headlines detail how the German sportswear giants have sent out information to retailers for the upcoming 2023-24 season and one of the teams included is Roma. Il Tempo reported back in July that the deal would be the second most valuable kit agreement in Serie A and would likely last for multiple years.

It is likely that Roma will be one of the Adidas Premium teams, putting them on the same level as clubs like Ajax and Celtic. They haven’t been included in the five Adidas Elite teams – Juventus, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Manchester United & Real Madrid.

The German sportswear giants have already worked with the Giallorossi in the past, making their kits from 1991 to 1994. Their first Roma kit in almost three decades is expected to be revealed next summer.

Roma have had an agreement with New Balance since 2021 but it was only a two-year deal, prompting them to look elsewhere for a new supplier.
