According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, Roma star Tammy Abraham could leave the Stadio Olimpico in the summer with Tottenham and Aston Villa interested.

The English striker has had an shaky start to the season with just four goals in 20 appearances across all competitions.

His poor goal-scoring run cost him a place at Qatar 2022 with the Three Lions, but according to Corsport, his future in the capital is also in doubt.

Tottenham and Aston Villa are keeping a close eye on the ex-Chelsea striker. The Blues have an €80m option to re-sign him in 2023 but are unlikely to activate it.

Sources close to the club quoted by Corsport insist Abraham won’t leave Roma in January.

José Mourinho appeared to criticise the 25-year-old before the World Cup break, with the Special One suggesting Tammy was mainly focused on a potential call-up in the English squad rather than his club.

Abraham is currently spending the last days of his holiday in England before returning to Rome to resume training on Sunday.

“It hasn’t been the fairytale start we all would’ve wanted, but in life, there’s always ups & downs,” the former Chelsea striker wrote on Instagram after Roma’s last Serie A match with Torino earlier this week.

“For the fans, For Rome, you deserve more & that’s what my team & I will give you after the break. Thank you to the real fans who never left our side through good or bad. Bad times make the good times better. Stay safe & see you soon. Daje Roma Sempre.”
