Christian Abbiati is reportedly interested in a return to Juventus, but the Bianconeri have specific terms and Milan are saying no.

Juve’s goalkeeping situation behind Gigi Buffon is expected to develop this summer, with Marco Storari seen as pushing for a move to Sassuolo, following Gianluca Pegolo’s long-term injury.

The Old Lady is apparently open to Storari’s move to the Neroverdi, if they can find a replacement at no extra cost.

The Old Lady is apparently open to Storari’s move to the Neroverdi, if they can find a replacement at no extra cost.

Abbiati, who only renewed with Milan at the start of the summer, is seen as one possible target, and he is described today by the Gazzetta dello Sport as open to talks.

However, there apparently remain two barriers to any deal – the clubs. Juve are believed to be looking to reduce Abbiati’s wages to match that of Storari’s, as currently they are €500,000-a-season higher.

Milan, meanwhile, are seen through Vice-President Adriano Galliani as having dismissed the Bianconeri’s interest, opposing any transfer to Turin.
