Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has lifted his second trophy at the club, meaning he has already won more than Antonio Conte.
The Nerazzurri beat Juventus 4-2 in the Coppa Italia Final at the Stadio Olimpico tonight, winning their second trophy this season. The defending Serie A champions had already got the better the Bianconeri in the Supercoppa Final in January.
Antonio Conte won one title during his two-year spell at Inter, but Inzaghi has already won more trophies than the current Tottenham boss. Conte left the club by mutual agreement in the summer after knowing the club would need to sell some of their stars to balance the books.
Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku left the club last summer for a combined €183m fee, but Inter have remained competitive and are now in the race to win a domestic treble.
However, in order to retain the Serie A title, they’ll need to see Milan slip in the remaining two games of the season as they currently sit second in the table, two points behind their city rivals.
Let’s be real. The Supercoppa and Coppa Italia are not what Inzaghi was brought to the club to win. Pirlo won both these competitions and was still sacked. When Milan win the title, Inzaghi will likely say the club won 2 trophies so it’s been a successful season but losing the league to Milan, who on paper don’t have the calibre of players Inter has, should be considered as a failure.
But Allegri has brought in nothing.

It’s true all Interisti will be disappointed if inter lost the scudetto, but more importantly is to win trophy every season, even if it’s just the super coppa
Which 3 season ago inter was just aiming to qualify for the champs lge
ForZa inter
What a ridiculous article.
Inter will win the scudetto,Milan will bottle it and lose their final 2 games.
He’s just started, let’s make fair judgment next season, trophy or not, he shows quality football
