Paul Pogba has the chance to make his first Juventus appearance this season in the upcoming Derby della Mole, a match that comes 315 days after his last competitive game.

The Frenchman has not played a single minute for the Bianconeri this campaign after returning on a free transfer last summer, signing a lucrative four-year contract. Hopes were high for Pogba, who showed his best club football in Turin, but the knee injury suffered in the summer has derailed his plans.

After months of recovery, Pogba has finally started to build up some fitness and is expected to take to the pitch soon, finally ready to represent Juventus once again.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, the Derby della Mole comes 315 days after Pogba’s last competitive appearance, which was Manchester United’s 4-0 loss to Liverpool back in April of last year.

Whilst the Frenchman is unlikely to start in the Turin derby, he could come off the bench in the second half, allowing the fans to finally welcome him over six months after his return to the club.
