Leandro Paredes has not shown much of note signing joining Juventus on loan from Paris Saint-Germain but has the chance to start turning things around in the upcoming Derby della Mole.

The 28-year-old Argentinian midfielder arrived in Turin on a loan deal with a buy option attached last summer, but has failed to convince Massimiliano Allegri, making just five starts and seeing only 567 minutes of action in Serie A this season.

Paredes is currently on track to return to PSG in the summer but there’s still a slim chance that he could turn things around in the Piedmont capital.

As highlighted by Corriere dello Sport, Manuel Locatelli’s absence in the Derby della Mole against Torino gives Paredes the chance to return to the starting lineup for Juventus again, giving him the opportunity to try and impress Allegri.

The Argentinian has been quiet in Turin since his arrival, providing just one assist in 22 appearances for the club, so he’ll need to grasp at any chance to try and turn things around.
