Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic said his hamstring injury is ‘nothing serious’ and expects to be out for only ‘one to two weeks’.

The Rossoneri feared they had to cope without the former Sweden international for up to a month, but Ibrahimovic has assured he will soon be back from the injury he suffered in the 3-1 win over Napoli.

“Every time I wear football boots, I think: ‘Wow, this is what I want to do’,” Zlatan, who scored a brace before he was substituted against the Partenopei, told Aftonbladet.

“It’s my passion. Football is my best friend; without football I wouldn’t be who I am. Without it, I feel lost.”

About the recent injury setback, Zlatan seemed certain he would only need a couple of weeks to return.

“It’s nothing serious, it’s a week or two.”

Ibra has scored 10 goals in six Serie A games this term and one in the preliminary rounds of the Europa League. During the interview the 39-year-old admitted he misses playing for Sweden national team.
