Piotr Zielinski vows to “only get better” at Napoli as “I knew it would be easy to integrate quickly” before he joined from Empoli.
Zielinski followed his former boss Maurizio Sarri and a number of ex-Empoli players to Napoli over the summer, and the midfielder believes the Partenopei were subsequently his natural progression.
“I heard [from] the Coach two or three times while I decided on my destination, but I was always convinced about joining Napoli,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“I know all the staff and many of their players, so I knew it would be easy to integrate quickly. Personally, in this set-up, I can only get better.
“Milik? Arek has started very well and goals are important for a striker. I’ve known him for so long, we played together at all levels up to the senior squad. He’s very strong and showing it.
“Sarri is good at getting us focused on a difficult match like the one against Bologna.
“They’re doing very well and have some interesting players, so we have to play as we know and win the game.”
